Preparation of stocks preparing for when you need the most

Preparation of stocks preparing for when you need the most

The range of stocks gives me a chance to see what I actually have. It also gives me a chance to check the state of everything in my spare magazine.

Many people have special things they do at the beginning of the year. For me, this means making stocks in many ways. This differs from most ideas about the new year, which more often concerns New Year’s resolutions than anything else. I gave up those in teenage age because I discovered that, like many people, I never kept these resolutions. So, although I have goals for my life, they are not in the form of New Year’s resolutions.

But at the beginning of the year there is a good time for many other things in life. The main worry among them is a summary of what happened in the last year. It seems to me that if I manage to go forward at least a little each year, at least I go in the right direction. Maybe I’m not as fast as I want, but at least I don’t go back.

A review of my year is not the only thing I do at the beginning of the year. I also try to plan my goals for this year. I am talking about such things: “I intend to build a henhouse and start breaking chickens this year.” I don’t always do all my goals, but if I don’t have them, I won’t do anything.

Spare management: good time to track

But there is one more important thing that I try to make sure every January. As a summary in the place where I am, I make stocks of my preparations. Unfortunately, it seems something that happens in my sheets of stocks during the year that it rejects them. Either I have really large mice, or I have family members who eat food, which should be part of our spare supply, without notifying anyone about what they did. Given that I have three adult children who are all cooking, this is an easy problem.

The range of stocks gives me a chance to see what I actually have. However, it also gives me a chance to check the state of everything in my wrestling. For years I discovered that not everything is going to remain good in the warehouse. Even things I expect to be good, such as canned goods, do not always stick well.

In general, canned goods will remain good for twenty years or longer. I read the cases in which they opened and tested canned goods that were up to 60, 80 or 100 years old. Although they could be slightly discolored, and some nutrients could oxidize, these canned goods were still perfectly edible. So, how can I have bad canned goods?

The point is: to preserve so long, it requires that everything goes perfectly in the maintenance process. If one thing goes wrong, it’s a toast (actually it’s a mess, but who is picky?). For example, if the coating inside the can is scratched, the acid in some foods can attack the metal of the can, ultimately causing the hole. That is why we should always check the can before its opening.

Solving those unbearable problems that make it difficult for your spare stocks

We all try to pack our food supplies and other consumables in such a way as to guarantee that they will last long without corruption or damage. Despite this, we must recognize the reality that our packaging efforts may not be perfect. I soothe this problem by annual control of everything I had. In general, I’m looking for everything that can be damaged or even suspicious.

Everything you find, which is suspicious, should be removed immediately from the supply. This does not necessarily mean that you should throw it completely. It can be very good, in this case you will find that when you open it. If it is still good, you can use or pack it and return it to your supply.

Nevertheless, if it’s not good, you must add this element to the shopping list as something you need to replace. As a result, you can stop the supply from escape by removing the elements, and then replacing them properly. Watch out for such things because I saw how many people remove things from their stocks and forget to mention them. After some time, they forget that they have removed him and expect it to still be there. But when they need this object, they are waiting for an unpleasant surprise.

Another thing that you can do to eliminate this problem is to rotate stocks. This means a combination of wrestling for everyday use with a spare supply. It helps to arrange items on the day you bought them. Then you use the oldest container from your item and replace it with a new one during the next food trip.

One of the biggest problems that people have with a rotational supply is that they reduce the amount of food over time. The items they use do not necessarily replace. There are two strategies that you can use to help eliminate this problem.

Tip No. 1: Use the pre -printed list

The first is to keep a shopping list in a pantry with a pen hanging through it. Then, when you get something out of the pantry, you mark it then. I like to use a pre -printed list that includes all the common elements we use. A few empty lines allow me to add additional elements that are not on the pre -printed list.

Tip No. 2: Determine normal levels of stockings

The second useful trick is to create a predetermined level of stockings for each element. Let’s say you keep 24 cans of corn on hand as part of food inventory. In addition, you also have a specific place in the pantry where you store them. When the time comes to go to the store, everything you have to do is count how much you have at hand. Therefore, you will learn how much you need to buy to reach a normal level of stockings.

To move this idea a step further, you can actually outline the area in which you supply these cans of corn. This would make it easier to see how much is missing, instead of counting them. Personally, I like to do it this way, because it saves me time and helps me ensure that I will do it.
